Description
One of the most popular dance scenes in musical history is without doubt the exhilarating whirlwind of a dance by the two protagonists of the ballet: Zorba and John which has long gone down in history as the epitome of the celebration of life. The ballet, premiered in the arena in Verona in 1988, is based on the original film music by Mikis Theodorakis and the original choreography by Lorca Massine, with the addition of numerous international favourites which have already conquered the world as hit songs.
