Description
Yangzhuoyong Cuo was composed in April 2010 as an element of Xiaogang Ye’s “Nine Sacred Lakes Series of Tibet” which also includes Basong Cuo, Lamula Cuo, Namu Cuo, Mapangyong Cuo, La’ang Cuo, Selin Cuo, and Dangruoyong Cuo. The lake is situated 4,441 meters above sea level amongst unique and beautiful scenery where you can encounter local people bowing down in adoration on the shore of the lake. The composer has visited this location twice to experience its silent and mystical beauty and become inspired to compose a work devoted to this lake. (Xiaogang Ye)
