Description
The work is inspired by Sado, the Japanese tea ceremony. Prior to the beginning of the actual ceremony, particular actions and gestures are prescribed up to the moment of entering the chashitsu, the ceremonial room. This procedure represents more than a mere preparation for drinking tea: it also serves to focus the inner consciousness in body, mind and soul. It should also raise awareness for the surrounding of the ceremonial room which extends into infinity. Atsuhiko Gondai
