City of Tribes is more than just a Iabel.
It is a network of artists, established by and for the sake of musicians sharing a common vision. Their pooled creativity has brought forth individual styles and flavors beyond naming. blending some of the world's most ancient musical heritage with some of today's most innovative endeavors. At the same time subtly familiar and fascinatingly not, the deep music of acclaimed projects such as Trance Mission or Beasts of Paradies – to name but the most prominent – has long won over a considerable follow which keeps on growing incessantly.
This release is an embodiment of musical friendships that have existed for years, carrying a great musical adventure all the way to here and now. Featuring the City of Tribes’ people on new discoveries, the majority of the contained solo works and various collaborations are available only on this compilation.
