Sommer...Nacht...ein Traum

Elisabeth Naske’s orchestral fantasy Sommer … Nacht … ein Traum was specially composed with youth orchestras in mind. There was no fixed programmatic concept outlined. The composer was surprised when, after the premiere, she was presented with a picture book by the children, complete with musical extracts from the work.
