Publications family, Joe Jackson.does this one in a swing style with a few twists, both traditional and contemporary. The New Orleans-style street march starts things off for the trumpet section; then everybody has a piece of the action in this well-thought-out and creative arrangement. Joe keeps your band working with ensemble backgrounds while the alto and tenor saxes are busy with the written solos, and a terrific shout chorus rounds off this fine arrangement. Flexible instrumentation and reasonable ranges make this a great choice for festivals and concerts.
