Ein Fall für Sherlock Holmes

The plot of the good old ‘Hound of the Baskervilles’ by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle provides the authors Gerd Natschinski and Jürgen Degenhardt with the opportunity of displaying their beloved subject the refined English society with more than a hint of humour, ranging from the darkest black to more or lesser degrees of pure comedy. In other words, even if the audience is ultimately not sure who murdered whom, when, why, how and by what means, this does not matter as we are well accustomed to this from the numerous everyday television crime series.
The small cast and unchanging scenery makes this work particularly suitable for medium- to small-sized opera houses and also for guest performances and tours. The work can be performed by both music theatre or acting ensembles.
