This collection presents pieces by two great Brazilian composers; Ernesto Nazareth and Chiquinha Gonzaga. Arranged for flute and guitar by the renowned author and guitarist Julian Byzantine, this set of 15 colourful pieces cover a variety of Brazilian styles, including the ‘Choro’ music popularised by the two composers.
The collection is accompanied by a CD featuring each of the pieces performed by Julian Byzantine and Brazilian music specialist Anna Noakes on flute. MP3 playalong tracks, as well as French and German translations of the introduction and notes on performance are available as free downloads from the Schott Music website. Suitable for students of grades 3-8.
