Zu dieser Zeit gab es im Ghetto keine Instrumente, so dass Singen die einzige Möglichkeit gemeinsamen Musikmachens darstellte. Andere Werke Kleins für Frauenchor aus Theresienstadt sind verschollen, mithin liegt mit "Bachuri Le’an Tisa" ein einzigartiges, bewegendes musikalisches Zeugnis jener Tage vor.

Description
The setting of the Hebrew song 'Bachuri Le'an Tisa' for three-voice female choir was created at the beginning of Klein's time in Terezin where he had been interned as from December 1941. At that time, there were no instruments in the ghetto so that singing was the only possibility of joint music-making. Other works by Klein for female choir composed in Terezin are missing; thus, 'Bachuri Le'an Tisa' is a unique and moving musical testimony of those days.
