About Vladimir Lande

Vladimir Lande (Conductor) is the Music Director and Conductor of Siberian State Symphony Orchestra (Krasnoyarsk, Russia). Starting in 2008 he has been The Principal Guest Conductor of St. Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra. Vladimir Lande is Music Director and Conductor of "Washington Soloists” Chamber Orchestra also a Guest conductor of the National Gallery of Art Symphony Orchestra and  Music Director of COSMIC Symphony Orchestra. In January of 2015 Maestro Lande led the St. Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra on a successful tour USA. He also led the St. Petersburg State Symphony on their tour of South Korea, he led the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra on a Latin American tour. In 2015 he became artistic Director of the Asian Pacific Festival for countries of the Asian-Pacific region. Vladimir Lande was guest conductor at Baltimore Symphony and Baltimore Opera, also the Tulsa Symphony orchestra or the Donetzk Ballett Company Orchestra. He has worked with distinguished orchestra  all over the world and top leading soloists like Hillary Hahn, Olga Kern,  Andrei Gavrilov. He enjoyed an extraordinarily active recording career. Also an seventeen-volume cycle of Russian composer Mieczyslaw Weinberg for Naxos. He also launched a serie of video recordings „From the Palaces in St. Petersburg“ for Nacos. His many other recording projects include works by Respgighi and Castelnuovo-Tedesco and naturally classic alcomposers. Vladimir Lande's vision for contemporary music crosses genre boundaries, as in such ground-breaking projects as "Concerto for Chef and Orchestra in France, "The Fragrance of Sound."
