About Matthias Geuting

Matthias Geuting studied church music in Essen (organ with Gerd Zacher) and musicology in Bochum (completing his doctorate with a dissertation on the Sonatas and Concerti of Johann Sebastian Bach). He has taught at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen and the Robert Schumann University in Düssel dorf, as well as the Bischöfliche Kirchenmusikschule in Essen. In addition to regular guest lectures and publications, he has premiered numerous new works for organ, many of which have been recorded for CDs and radio broadcast.
