About Martin Stadtfeld

At the age of seven, Martin Stadtfeld had a clear vision of his career goal: concert pianist. In his first piano lessons with Hubertus Weimer, he explored counterpoint and harmony. At 14, he began to study with Lev Natochenny in Frankfurt on the Main. In 2002 he won the Bach Competition in Leipzig and at the age of just 22 released the "Goldberg Variations" on Sony Music. A complete success, the start of his exceptional career. His intensive study of Baroque music leads to his own arrangements and compositions such as Handel Variations, a new piano version of Bach's Chaconne or Hommage to Bach.
