Koelner Domchor
About Koelner Domchor
The Kölner Domchor is Cologne’s only boys choir and the oldest of the four choirs at the Cologne Cathedral. Reestablished in 1863, it continues the centuries-old tradition of choral singing at the Cologne Cathedral. The Kölner Domchor performs regularly in church services in world-famous cathedrals and gives concerts in Cologne Cathedral and elsewhere (performing with the WDR Sinfonieorchester Köln and Concerto Köln, among others). The choir’s repertoire includes music from the Renaissance and Baroque as well as modern music. The Kölner Domchor has successfully competed in a variety of national and international choral competitions. The choir has toured in Europe, the United States, Mexico, and Israel, including collaborations with the Wiener Philharmoniker and the Hilliard Ensemble.Products
