About Yuri Olijnik

Yuri Olijnik (born in Novograd-Volynsky in the Ukraine) graduated in 1970 from the Kiev Conservatory. He has been a baritone soloist with the Kiev Philharmonic since 1970. He has appeared many times in the concert halls of Moscow and St. Petersburg, where he has sung the major baritone roles of both the classical and modern repertory (Stravinsky, Shostakovich, Silvestrov, and Bibik).
