About Gabriel Bock

Gabriel Bock recieved his music degree with piano as his main subject from Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz (Germany). While he was still a student he gained experience ba playing in different jazz clubs all over Germany. He has performed both as a soloist and as part of duos or trios.

Apart from the piano he is alos interested in jazz guitar (Latin style). He ist a lecturer at the Musik- und Kunstschule and the Musikakdemie Wiesbaden and the Peter Cornelius-Konservatorium Mainz (Germany). Moreover he has worked as an assistant lecturer at Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz.

Gabriel Bock lives in Wiesbaden where he has also worked for productions of the Hessisches Staatstheater. He has been author of piano arrangements of jazz standards for SCHOTT Musik International since 1998. Till now he has published Latin Piano, Piano - Goes All Time Standard as well as different adaptations.
