numerous performances in Argentina, Austria, England, Germany, Hungary, Korea, Turkey and USA;
studies in philosophy and history at the Ruhr-Universitaet in Bochum/Germany, MA degree in 1986;

1983-1998 author of radio-features about art and science for several public radio stations in Germany;

scholarship "Kuenstlerhaus Schloss Wiepersdorf" in Brandenburg/Germany in 1992;

1997-2000 several awards for music-video- and music-theatre-productions in Germany;
his composition "Untertagemusik Nr.1" was honoured in 2002 at the International Competition of Electroacoustic Music and Sound Art in Bourges/France;

in 2004 Frank Niehusmann was invited as a guest artist at the ZKM Institute for Music and Acoustics in Karlsruhe/Germany with a commissioned work for the "European Bell Festival 2004".
