About Evelin Degen

Evelin Degen studied flute at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. As a soloist, she premiered numerous pieces that have been written for her. She has been a long-time member of the Thürmchen Ensemble Cologne and the Ensemble Tra i Tempi. She was also the president of Jeunesses Musicales NRW for many years. As the flutist for the E-MEX Ensemble, she has toured across Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the USA. Evelin Degen is a professor at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf, where she leads a studio of flute students.
